Welcome to the
Rowan-Cabarrus Community College Admissions Office website.
We are glad that you are considering RCCC and are here to assist
you as you begin or continue working towards your educational
goals. The Admissions Office is the place to start your enrollment
process. The following information will give you an overview
of the Admissions Office, some of the admissions policies and
procedures, and links to information and forms that will help
you begin the enrollment process.
RCCC adheres to an open door policy with
no discrimination because of age, race, color, sex, religion,
disability or national origin. In general, anyone 18 years
or older, or having a high school diploma or GED, who wants
to continue their education may attend RCCC classes on a
full or part-time basis. Under certain circumstances, high
school students who are 16 years or older may attend RCCC
with permission from their school principals and RCCC.
Admission to the college, however, does
not mean that a student will automatically be admitted to
their program of choice. It does mean that each student will
be given the opportunity to overcome any academic weaknesses
through pre-college courses. |
