Submit an official high school transcript or equivalent (GED or adult high school diploma) to RCCC. An official transcript is sent or delivered to RCCC in a sealed envelope with the date of graduation on the transcript. If an official high school transcript has not been received prior to registration, you will not be allowed to register.
bullet
After your application and your official high school transcript (or equivalent) have been received, your name will be entered on a qualified list using the date your application is received. You must still attend a registration session to secure a slot in the program.
Registration for the Cosmetology Programs

Entrance into a Cosmetology program is based on space availability (first-come, first-served) on the day of registration. If more than the number of students who can be accepted into the program come at the same time, they will be chosen by application dates obtained from Student Services.

The day Cosmetology program is limited to 20 slots. Cosmetology is also offered in the evening with limited slots.

Cosmetology will conduct special registration sessions during RCCC’s early registration period. Attending the early registration session will be your best opportunity for enrollment in day cosmetology classes for the following semester – arrive on time – day slots may fill during the FIRST early registration session.

If the 20 day slots fill, an alternate list will be generated. Students will be notified if a day slot becomes available. The alternate list will not carry forward to the next semester; students will need to attend the next registration session.
