Do I have to take “0” level classes?
 
If your compass test scores indicate a need for you to take for example, MAT 060, then as a pre-requisite to other courses, yes you will need to take the course.

Do “0” classes count?
 
Yes and No. “0” level courses, such as RED 090, do count as pre-requisites for other courses but do not count toward your GPA.

How do I withdraw from a class?
 
Students must initiate the withdrawal process or risk a failing grade which will hurt your GPA. Pick up a drop form from either student services or the EDGE, fill it out and give it to the instructor of the course you wish to drop. The instructor will complete the form and turn it in.

What is a WP/WF?
 
When you withdraw from a course, the instructor will mark if you withdrew passing or withdrew failing, neither of which affect your GPA.

How do I withdraw from an Internet class?
 
Send the instructor an email that you want to withdraw and request that they complete and turn in the form.

Should I take the computer skills test or the technical proficiency test (TPE)?
 

The computer skills test score will indicate the level computer course you should register for whereas the TPE is for people wishing to take online courses.

*Pre-nursing and pre-rad students should take the TPE first. If you pass, you will not need to take the other test nor take a computer class.

How many classes do I need to graduate?
 
To get an evaluation of your transcript, fill out an application for graduation and submit completed application to the Student Services Office.
