Your Next Steps . . .
STEP 1
Confirm that ALL Admissions Requirements are Complete
Application: Complete and return the Application for Admission.
Transcripts: Provide official transcripts of your previous education -- include high school / GED and college (if applicable). 
Placement Testing: Schedule an appointment to take the COMPASS placement test and the Computer Skills Placement Test. If you are taking an Internet-based course, you are also required to take the Technical Proficiency Exam (TPE).
STEP 2
Review & Participate in the following:
A.
Complete the "Student Orientation" on Blackboard.  Navigate to the "Student QuickLinks" on the college's home page (www.rowancabarrus.edu).  Click on the "Blackboard Login" menu item.  To access the orientation material, use the following:  Login = rccc.student / Password = rccc.
B.
Attend a "How To ..." workshop. Visit the Advising Information home page for a list of workshop dates, times, and locations.
C.
Attend a WebAdvisor Support Lab.  WebAdvisor Support providees in-person help with getting logged into WebAdvisor and any advising questions.  Click on the "Need Help? Have Questions?" for days and times.
STEP 3
Make Arrangements to Pay Your Tuition

A college education is a major investment. It is important for students to have a plan of action for how tuition and related expenses will be paid.  Student should be familiar with tuition and fees and payment options.  Detailed information regarding tuition and fees is available online at www.rowancabarrus.edu/tuition/.

Students pursuing Financial Assistance are encouraged to apply early. For detailed questions regarding Financial Aid, visit Student Services at North or South Campus to speak with a Financial Aid Advisor (or visit: www.rowancabarrus.edu/financialaid/).
