EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - Basic (200 hours)

Students receive instruction in emergency-care procedures and operational aspect of the EMT's role and developing  emergency care skills. Students will study the basic list of tasks and competencies as outlined by the North Carolina Office of Emergency Medicine.  Persons successfully completing the course are eligible to take the State Certification Examination.

  bullet There will be a $65 registration fee for these classes.
  bullet Fire, Law, and Rescue personnel are exempt from registration fees.
  bullet Register the first night of class.
