Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic (980 hours)

This course upgrades an EMT Basic to the Paramedic level of pre-hospital emergency care.  The students will be taught the most advanced levels of care possible to use in North Carolina.  Class hours are divided into 480 classroom hours, 200 hours in several departments of area hospitals, and 300 hours on area EMS units.  After completion of this course students will be able to sit for the North Carolina State Certification test and or the National Registry test.
