MEC 111 - Machine Processes I 
This course introduces shop safety, hand tools, machine processes, measuring instruments, and the operation of machine shop equipment. Topics include use and care of tools, safety, measuring tools, and the basic setup and operation of common machine tools. Upon completion, students should be able to safely machine simple parts to specified tolerances.

This course covers the design and operation of supply/value chains in use by organiza-tions. Topics include supply chain strategies and management, lean logistics, quality within the supply chain, resource planning and forecasting, and information technology use within value chains. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate an understanding of supply chain management and describe value chain processes.
