	Distance Learning via ITV allows the college to provide students greater access to courses, as ITV connects a state-wide network of colleges. ITV provides equitable access to courses on the North and South campuses of RCCC as well as across the state by the use of telecommunications technology.
Classes are led by an instructor from a primary classroom and broadcast to the other locations, called remote sites. Each room is equipped with cameras, monitors and voice-activated microphones, allowing real-time communication between sites. The remote sites utilize Facilitators to assist with equipment operation as well as the distribution and collection of course materials each class session.
