must have *successfully completed an Internet-based class at RCCC OR satisfied requirements A AND B (as stated below): |

Writing and Reading Skills- The student must have
met one of the following requirements: |

ASSET Exam (Score of 42 or greater on language portion AND score of 41 or higher on reading portion). |

|
COMPASS Exam (Score of 71 or higher on writing portion AND 81 or higher on the reading portion). |
| |
|
*Successful completion of ENG 111, or ENG 090 AND RED
090. |
| |
|
Enrolled in ENG 111, or ENG 090 AND RED 090 at the time of PRE-REGISTRATION. Student must *successfully complete the
course prior to the start of the Internet-based class.** |

Equivalent transfer credit for ENG 111, or ENG 090 AND RED 090. |

| B. |
Technical Skills- The student must have met one of
the following requirements: |

|
Score of 77 or better on the RCCC Technical Proficiency Exam (TPE). |
| |
|
*Successful completion of CIS 110, EGR 125, or EDU 271. |
| |
|
Enrolled in CIS 110, EGR 125, or EDU 271 at the time of PREREGISTRATION.

| |
|
Student must *successfully complete the
course prior to the start of the Internet-based class.** |
| |
|
Equivalent transfer credit for CIS 110, EGR 125, or EDU 271. |
| |
|
|
*Successful completion is achieved by a grade of “C” or better (includes grades of “CE” but excludes “Audits”).
**Enrollment Contingency (applies to the “In Office” registration period only): If the student is currently enrolled in a course required to
qualify for enrollment, he/she must successfully complete the required course to maintain enrollment in the Internet-based class for which
the student is registering. If not, the student will be required to satisfy one of the other requirements outlined in areas A and B above by
the start of the term/semester to remain in the Internet-based class. |
