Setting up Sent and Delete Folders

Email has a new look but your login and password are the same.

PREFERENCES:  HOW TO SET UP SENT/DELETED FOLDERS

Create a sent folder:

Click on the word Preferences on the left hand side of the screen below the folder list.
 
You will then see the following open in the right hand window.

Scroll down until you will see the section called “Composing” 



Composing

Default message encoding:  

Default new message style:  

Open compose in:  

Save copy of outgoing messages in sent folder

Save recipients by default

Enable autosuggest for contacts

 

Check the box that says “save a copy of outgoing messages in sent folder”.
After you send an email the new sent folder will appear in the list on the right side.

Create a Deleted folder
On the same preferences screen, scroll down until you see “Delete Options”


Delete Options

Move to deleted folder   Purge messagea Confirm before delete

 

Make sure to select the option that says “Move to deleted folder.”

Save your settings by selecting the save option at the top of the user preferences screen.

NOTE: These folders will appear once you send or delete an email.
