Rowan-Cabarrus Community College offers several methods of Distance Education, providing students a wide range of choices and new approaches to learning. Currently RCCC offers over 75 Internet based courses and over 27 Telecourses within a variety of academic departments including; Arts and Sciences, Business Technologies, General Education Programs, General Occupational Technology, Health & Public Services Technologies, and Industrial & Engineering Technologies. RCCC is proud to provide students a way to participate in learning in addition to the traditional classroom.

The Associate in Applied Science in Business Administration degree is designed to introduce students to the various aspects of the free enterprise system and provides students with a fundamental knowledge of business functions and processes. This program can be completed totally via Internet courses or by combination of Telecourses and Internet courses. |

The Pre-Major in Associate in Arts Degree in a number of curriculum areas can be completed totally via Internet-based courses or by combination of Telecourses and Internet-based courses. Please see the chart below for a detailed listing of Pre-Major degree distance education options. |

The Associate in Arts degree emphasizes the liberal arts and is intended for students desiring to transfer to a four-year college or university. This program can be completed primarily* via Internet-based courses (with remaining courses offered via Telecourses or Traditional courses). |
