Information Session
for Telecourses
|
| See below for important information and instructions regarding the information sessions, class meetings, and broadcast schedules. |

General Information: |
|
|
|
| |
 |
During your first class meeting, a short Information Session will be provided. |
| |
|
A 15-minute orientation video will be shown during the mandatory first class meeting. If it is impossible for the student to attend the first class meeting due to unavoidable circumstances such as sickness, death in family, etc., the student is responsible for contacting the instructor. THOSE STUDENTS WHO DO NOT ATTEND THE FIRST CLASS MEETING AND DO NOT MEET WITH THE INSTRUCTOR DURING THE FOLLOWING WEEK WILL BE DROPPED IMMEDIATELY. NO EXCEPTIONS |

During the information session students will: |

Receive Video on Demand (VOD) viewing instructions. |
|
Become familiar with the Support Services at RCCC |
|
Receive instructions and course materials |
|

|
Reminder - this meeting is mandatory. It is your first class meeting and will be used for conducting lecture, distributing course materials, etc. |

Individual Class Meetings: |
|
|
|
| |
|
Attendance at each Saturday class is required. If a student misses one class and does not make contact with the instructor, the student will be dropped. |
| |
|
Students are asked not to bring children on campus since the college cannot assume responsibility for unattended children. RCCC is committed to providing an environment conducive to learning, and children may disrupt the learning environment when they are brought into the classroom or left unattended. |

In the event you need to be contacted while on campus because of an emergency situation, you may be reached by calling the weekend attendant at 704-216-3512, or 704-216-3673, In addition to leaving this phone number with someone needing to reach you in the event of an emergency, please also leave with this person the name of the event and the room number where you can be reached. |
