Welcome to the RCCC customized version of TILT!
TILT (University of Texas Information Literacy Training)
is an interactive, high-quality, web-based tutorial developed by the
University of Texas System Library Digital Information Literacy Office at Austin.
 

The tutorial is organized in the following three modules:
  1. Selecting: focus on the different sources of information, where to find these sources, and how to choose the best ones for your research.
  2. Searching: focus on selecting the best source to search, choosing the most appropriate words, and combining them successfully.
  3. Evaluating: focus on locating, evaluating and citing print and electronic sources.
Each of the three modules should take you about 30 minutes to complete and includes the following:
  • An introduction
  • A list of key concepts and skills you should learn
  • A main text with links to topic explanations
  • A quiz
