The LRC is open on Telecourse Saturdays at each campus location.

The LRC (North Campus) is open 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.  between semesters and other locations as posted. All LRCs are closed on college holidays.

Guidelines for Students:
bullet
A recent picture ID is required before a student can take a test.   The student must know the name of the instructor, course name, number and type.
bullet
Tests that are to be taken on a computer must be scheduled due to the limited number of computers available. See North contact information above to schedule a computer test.
bullet
Testing must be completed 1/2 hour prior to LRC closing time.
 
Guidelines for Non-RCCC Distance Learning Testers:

Testing is done only by appointment.
bullet
Proctoring services are provided by the contact person only during specific hours.
bullet
A minimum of two weeks notice is required.
bullet
Student must fill out an ATC Information Card.  The signature specifies acceptance of Rowan Cabarrus Community College (RCCC) Academic Testing Center (ATC) policies and regulations.

A recent picture ID is required before a student can take a test.
bullet
If the testing documents are received via email, they will need to be printed.  The printing charge of $0.10 per page is the responsibility of the student.  All documents submitted via e-mail should be sent to the following address: lrc_testing@rowancabarrus.edu.

Return mailing envelope and postage are to be provided by student if not supplied by the parent institution.
bullet
Fax charges will be the responsibility of the student if it is necessary to fax documents to the parent institution.  The cost is $0.50 for 1-5 pages; $1.00 for 6 or more pages.

If distance learning student is under the age of sixteen (16), a parent or legal guardian must remain in the Learning Resource Center (LRC) while student completes testing.
