Gold Hill native receives recognition for senior aerospace design project (Salisbury Post)
 

Gold Hill native who recently graduated magna cum laude from N.C. State also received another honor. Jesse Fulton earned a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering. He began his college studies at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College in 2004. All of the courses he took at RCCC transferred to N.C. State.

‘Who Moved My Job?’ - RCCC Offers Job Loss Seminars

 

Rowan-Cabarrus Community College will offer a three-part seminar series for people coping with job loss and down-sizing. The “Who Moved My Job: Guidelines for Job-Loss Grief Recovery” series is scheduled for consecutive days – July 22-24 – at RCCC’s Cabarrus Business & Technology Center, in Concord.

R3 Center Announces July Schedule of Career Workshops
Seminars Offered at Cabarrus and Rowan Sites

 

The R3 Center is offering numerous career development workshops and resume clinics in July for adults in Cabarrus and Rowan counties. All of the programs are provided free-of-charge. The center has expanded its workshop schedule to include class locations in Cabarrus and Rowan counties.

Prospective students can apply and register now to take classes in August in Rowan-Cabarrus Community College’s new associate degree program in fine arts. Students will be able to choose a painting or photography concentration.

Following is the list of the 2009 graduates of Rowan-Cabarrus Community College. The list provides each graduate’s first and last name by town of residence. RCCC held its 2009 graduation ceremony May 30 at the Cabarrus Arena and Events Center.

Individuals who are unemployed or under-employed are invited to attend a “Pink Slip Social,” hosted by Rowan-Cabarrus Community College's R3 Center.
