Nancy Bilson Appointed to RCCC Board, |

SALISBURY, N.C. — Nancy E. Bilson of Salisbury has been appointed to the Rowan-Cabarrus Community College Board of Trustees by the Rowan County Commission. Bilson's term on the RCCC board will run through June 30, 2010. She will complete the term of George Knox, who retired from the board in May. Bilson is a contract recruiter for International Paper in Statesville, N.C. Previously, she worked from 1984 to 2006 for ICI Group, one of the world's largest producers of paints and specialty chemicals. Her positions with ICI Group included human resources manager for National Starch & Chemical Co., in Salisbury; senior human resources manager for ICI Explosives USA in Joplin, Mo.; and human resources manager in Wilmington, Del. Prior to ICI, Bilson worked in career planning and placement and as a career counselor at the University of Delaware and Temple University. Bilson earned a bachelor's degree in English at the University of Pittsburgh and a master's of education degree in counseling from Temple University. She holds SPHR certification for human resources management. Pat Fulcher, Food Lion LLC., vice president of associate services, has been reappointed to the RCCC board by the Rowan County Commission. Fulcher will serve a four-year term ending June 30, 2012. She has served as an RCCC trustee since 2004. Susan Kluttz, mayor of Salisbury has been reappointed to the RCCC board by the Rowan-Salisbury Board of Education. Kluttz also will serve a four-year term ending June 30, 2012. She joined the board in 2000. |
