RCCC Offers Evening Program in Machining Technology |

SALISBURY, N.C. — Starting Aug. 18, Rowan-Cabarrus Community College will offer a new evening certificate program in computer numeric controlled (CNC) machining. The evening CNC operator program will meet four nights a week for two, 16-week semesters. Classes will convene at RCCC's North Campus and typically last three and one-half hours. The certificate program will offer a variety of machining courses, including CNC machining, manual machining, blueprint reading and advanced measuring skills. Students completing the certificate program will be prepared for entry level positions as CNC machinists and programmers in a variety of industries, including engine building and motorsports.
