RCCC Wins State Bowling Tournament |

SALISBURY, N.C. — Bowlers from Rowan-Cabarrus Community College claimed a second-consecutive state championship at the recent North Carolina Community College Fall Bowling Tournament. The RCCC team of Larry Davis, Stephen Brady, Chris Gibson and Wendy Patterson led the six-game series with a team average of 193 per game and finished more than 200 pins ahead of their closest rival. Patterson also claimed the individual title for knocking down the most pins. RCCC also won the spring state tournament held in last March. Davis, an RCCC instructor, serves as coach and team advisor. |
