Conversational Spanish Classes |

CONCORD, N.C. — Rowan-Cabarrus Community College will offer conversational Spanish classes beginning in January. The classes will meet one evening a week for two and one-half hours. There is a registration fee of $55, plus a textbook costing approximately $30. Advanced registration is required. The schedule is as follows:
RCCC also is offering an activity director course for persons wanting to pursue a career as a state-approved activity director for nursing homes. The course will cover state and federal regulations, how to plan and implement activities, and other duties involved in such positions. The 60-hour, state-approved course meets all North Carolina qualification requirements. The activity director class will meet 6 to 9 p.m. on Monday and Thursdays, Jan. 12 through March 23, at the Rufty-Holmes Senior Center, in Salisbury. The course fee is $60, plus a supplies fee of $18. Advanced registration is required.
