RCCC Offers Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical
License Prep Courses

 

                  SALISBURY, N.C. — Rowan-Cabarrus Community College will offer licensing updates and preparation courses in plumbing, electrical contractor and mechanical code during the upcoming fall semester.

                  The North Carolina Plumbing License updates class will meet 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 15, at RCCC's North Campus, in Salisbury. Tuition is $65. The course will cover the 2009 North Carolina plumbing code and permits and inspections. Students must bring their code books to class.

                  The North Carolina Mechanical License Updates class will meet 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 12, at RCCC's South Campus, in Concord. Tuition is $65. The course will cover the state mechanical code and permits and inspections. Students must bring their code books to class.

                  The License Preparation Course for Electrical Contractors will meet 6 to 9 p.m. on Mondays, Sept. 14 through Feb. 15, at RCCC's Cabarrus Business & Technology Center, in Concord. Tuition is $175.
