RCCC Hosts N.C. Inmate Art Show

CONCORD, N.C. — The artistic works and creations of North Carolina prison inmates will be on display at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College Nov. 19 through Dec. 4. RCCC's South Campus is the host location of the 33rd Annual State Inmate Art Show.

The creative talents of inmate artists across North Carolina will be showcased in the South Campus Student Center, located in the 3000 Building. The public can view the works of art during the college's regular hours.

"RCCC is proud to host this statewide art show and support arts education," said Jenn Selby, RCCC art instructor. "In addition to strengthening our community partnerships, this show gives inmate artists an opportunity to share their talents with the public. We invite the community to view these works of art."

RCCC's South Campus is located at 1531Trinity Church Rd., just off N.C. 73 and I-85 at exit 55, in Concord.
