As part of a network of 58 Centers around
the state, our sole purpose is to increase the success rate
and the number of viable small businesses in North Carolina
through providing community-based education and training,
counseling, information and referrals for both prospective
and current small business owners. |

The necessity for a catalyst to facilitate
and foster strong entrepreneurial support, education, and
growth initiatives in Rowan and Cabarrus Counties was documented
in an October 2006 report on Kannapolis and its surrounding
areas, as a result of the planned North Carolina Research
