What programs of study do you offer?
RCCC offers occupational education degree, diploma, and certificate programs in Business Technologies; Industrial and Engineering Technologies; and Health and Public Services Technologies. We also offer courses in the Arts and Sciences leading to the Associate in Arts degree for transfer to a four-year college or university. In addition, there are programs in adult education and continuing education such as literacy and adult high school and specialized training programs for business and industry. Where is the college located?
Click here to view campus maps and driving directions ...The North Campus is located in Salisbury, North Carolina at the junction of I-85 and Jake Alexander Boulevard. 

The South Campus is located just north of Concord, North Carolina at the junction of I-85, NC 73, and Trinity Church Road. 

The CBTC (Cabarrus Business and Technology Center) is located off Highway 29 in Concord.

How do I enroll at RCCC?

Contact the Student Services Office at either at either campus (see contact information on the left) and ask for admissions information or visit Student Services at either campus. You may ask to speak to a counselor. You will then complete the school application, order high school and prior college transcripts, and schedule the COMPASS/ASSET Placement Test and the Computer Skills Assessment.

Do I have to take a test?
Yes. The admissions process includes taking the COMPASS/ASSET Placement Tests and the Computer Skills Assessment. These results are extremely helpful in selecting appropriate entry-level courses. View placement testing information.

What classes do I need to take?
Each program of study with its list of required classes appears in the RCCC Catalog. In addition, you will have an academic advisor who will assist you in selecting classes and planning your schedule each term.

What will it cost to be a student at RCCC?
Tuition for North Carolina residents is $42.00 per credit hour with the maximum charge of $672.00 per semester. Out-of-state tuition is charged at $233.30 per credit hour with a maximum charge of $3,732.80.  Most individual classes are three credit hours. There are also student activity fees, an accident insurance fee, and some individual course fees which may apply. Students must also purchase books and supplies.

When and how do I pay my school expenses?
Tuition and fees must be paid at registration by cash, check, or credit card. Books and supplies may be purchased at the RCCC Bookstore at any time by the same methods.

Do you offer Financial Aid?
Yes, contact the Financial Aid Office in Student Services to discuss our financial aid program and begin the application process.  For online information, click here.

Are all programs and classes available at both campuses?
Yes and no. Many classes and programs are available in their entirety at both campuses. However, some classes and programs of study are available only at the North Campus, and some are available only at the South Campus. Check with Student Services for specific information.
Can I register at the North Campus for South Campus classes and vice versa?
Yes.

Do I need a parking sticker?
Yes. Parking stickers are available at registration and at the Student Services Office areas.  There is no charge for the parking stickers.

How do I get a transcript of my RCCC records?
You must sign a Transcript Request form at either of the Student Services offices.
Do you offer tutoring?
Yes. In addition to review courses in reading, writing, math, and algebra, we offer specialized tutoring in math, English, chemistry, and Spanish.  For more information, click here.

How do I find out if school is closed due to adverse weather?
Information is posted on our website.  Information is also made available through local radio and television stations. A complete list of the television and radio stations appears in the RCCC Catalog and the RCCC Weather Information website.
