How Do I Reset My Password?

On WebAdvisor’s main page, click on the What’s My Password? link.

Choose one of the two (2) options available: Show Password Hint | Reset my Password

   
 
   
  OPTION 1: Show my password hint
     
   
1. Enter your WebAdvisor User ID.
2. Click on the SUBMIT button
     
   
     
   
3. If you entered a password hint when logging into WebAdvisor for the first time, this hint will be displayed.
   
 
   
  OPTION 2: Reset my password
     
   
1. If you have no password hint or your password hint does not help, choose Reset my password.
   
 
   
2. Enter your Last Name and either your Social Security Number (SSN) or your RCCC Student ID number.
3. Click on the SUBMIT button.

Send my temporary password to this email address – drop-down box should show your RCCC student email address ending with @students.rowancabarrus.edu.  If this address is listed incorrectly, please contact Student Services at 704-216-3593.

     
   
     
   
5. The next page will confirm that your temporary password has been emailed to you.
     
   
     
   
6.

Check your student email for your temporary password.  The message will come from webadvisor@rowancabarrus.edu, with a Subject of WebAdvisor response.

   
   
7. See directions on how to Login to WebAdvisor, and follow the steps for a first-time user.  Make sure to use the temporary password you received via email.
